How much is your minimum wedding photography package?
The minimum package I supply starts at $3,200, which includes one photographer for 10 hours of coverage. Additional extras including printed wedding albums and a second photographer, can be supplied for an additional fee. Travel costs are also taken into account depending on your chosen location.
Contact us via the enquiry form to hear about these options.
How much notice do you need for bookings?
Generally most of my weddings are booked 12-18 months out, but please don’t hesitate to contact if your wedding is happening sooner. Send an enquiry here to check our availability.
Do you shoot alone or have a team of photographers?
I prefer to shoot my weddings alone however having a second pair of hands on the day allows more peace of mind that every little detail and moment that unfolds, will be captured. Also, I generally suggest adding the cost for a second shooter if your number of guests exceeds 100 people. I only use second photographers that complement my style of shooting so if this is something you would be looking for, you can be assured that the style will be consistent.
Do you have photography and video packages for your weddings?
No, I only provide photography coverage for weddings. I am however completely comfortable working around videographers if you are looking to book someone. I also have a few video contacts that I know personally and have worked with previously, so let me know if this is something you’re looking for.
We’re both super awkward and not used to getting our photos taken. How will you make us feel comfortable in front of the camera?
I haven’t met a couple who hasn’t asked this question before, so don’t stress! I honestly believe the one true barrier to capturing truly amazing, natural images, is getting to know each other! I’m super awkward and try not to stress the little things. Once you’ve booked me to capture your wedding we will arrange face to face or video call meet ups to get to know each other. I want to know how you first met, of course, but i’m also super interested in what you both do and enjoy. This helps you both to feel more comfortable on your wedding day and allows you both to truly relax and take everything in.
After the ceremony, we don’t want to be taken away from our guests for too long. What is the normal duration you spend taking bridal portraits?
I understand that you want to be with your guests celebrating your day, so I usually only spend 45-60 minutes taking the bridal portraits after the ceremony. This allows for the family, bride/groom parties, and couple photos to take place, allowing you all to get straight back to the action. The best timing for these portraits to take place is 45-60mins before sunset, which allows the best possible light and results in the best looking images.
I see you’re based in Sydney, do you travel to other parts of Australia or overseas?
Although I am based in Sydney, I frequently travel to Brisbane and Melbourne, and can definitely travel further for your wedding or elopement.
Do you include printed albums as part of your packages?
A printed, lay flat, fine art wedding album is included in Collection Three of my photography packages, but can also be added to other packages at an extra cost. I have many different album options available for couples and I thoroughly enjoy designing them, which can be the hardest part. When enquiring, add it to your list of questions and we can chat through your options.
Do you use natural light for your photos or flash photography?
Natural light works best for my style of photography. Lighting is key to capturing the best images so my day consists of literally chasing the light… There will come a time in the night when available light becomes limited, so this is when I attach my flash to the cameras in order to capture those energetic dance floor moments (shown below). For most of the day/night I endeavour to keep my flashes hidden, as they can be distracting at times. So I only attach them when it becomes essential to properly expose the image.
How long does it take to receive our images?
I provide ‘sneak peek’ photos 1-2 days after your wedding, as a little surprise, so you can share with family, friends, and of course post straight to the gram! After this, I deliver the final online gallery of images within 6 weeks of your wedding date. Printed wedding albums take a little longer as time is needed for the supplier to print, assemble and deliver the product.
